GREENHAVEN NEIGHBORHOOD CHURCH
U.S. CONFERENCE OF MENNONITE BRETHREN
VOLUNTARY AFFILIATE OF THE USMB
While the Greenhaven Neighborhood Church (GNC) is autonomous and maintains the right to govern its own affairs independent of any denominational control, we too recognize the benefits of cooperation with other churches in world missions. As a result, we voluntarily affiliate with the U.S. Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches in its national and district levels. You can read more by visiting usmb.org.
The Mennonite Brethren Church, as part of God’s global Kingdom family, has rich spiritual bloodlines that trace back into the heart of the 16th century Reformation. From the start, our spiritual forefathers were determined to hold to the Bible as the non-negotiable source of truth and to pursue radical obedience to Jesus Christ.
The U.S. Conference of the church was established in 1954 and is now one of the most diverse in the country. Today, half of our congregations worship in a language other than English on Sunday morning.
