Welcome to Greenhaven Neigborhood Church!

Greenhaven Neighborhood Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ by following the leading of the Holy Spirit as He forms us into the likeness of Christ. As followers of Jesus, we seek to live as humble servants of one another, our local community, and the world for the sake of the gospel.

Walking into a new church for the first time can be uncomfortable or exciting depending on your previous church experence. Our hope is for you to find at GNC a place to meet with Jesus and experience His love in community with others.

Our Ministries

Sermon Dive

Each Tuesday night we get together on Zoom to discuss the message which was given from God's Word on Sunday. We ask questions, we think through implications, and we lean in to what the Spirit is saying through the Word. If you'd like to join us, send us an email and we will send you a Zoom link.

PACT - Serving Our Community

Greenhaven Neighborhood Church is part of PACT (Pocket Area Churches Together). We partner with other Christian churches in our area to meet the needs of our community in practical ways. Talk to us to learn more about ways to serve with us.

Weekly Bible Study

Each Thursday night on Zoom we take additional time to study Scripture. We walk verse by verse through a book of the Bible and make observations, ask questions, and grow in our knowledge of the Word. If you would like to join us, send us an email and we will send you a Zoom link.

Upcoming Events

Look below to see the type of events we offer each month. Most of our typical weekly events have been put on hold due to the COVID-19 quarantine. However, we hope to resume these types of ministries after Easter of 2021.

Downtown Ministries

GNC has adopted the “Downtown Ministries” as our local Missions effort this year. Downtown Ministries primarily assists women and children living below the poverty level. The emphasis is on ensuring adequate clothing and nutritional food for those in need.

Family Day

At least once a month we like to come together for food, family, and fun. These events could include outdoor picnics with games and talent shows. We could do a workday at the church. We could even gather for a cooking, painting, or golf lesson as a community. The goal is to be together as a church family to create bonds and express the love of Christ to each other.

Movie Night

We hope to gather every other month to watch a stimulating film together. Afterward, we expect to get involved in related conversation that will challenge our faith. Currently, we are on hold. Yet, stay tuned, a great film is coming to our screen soon.

Weekly Bible Study

Statistics show that most people professing faith in Jesus have never completely read the Bible. Many people start reading the Bible but then become overwhelmed. Come join several of us who are committed to reading the Bible line by line and book by book. Come join us on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm on Zoom.

Worship Team Practice

Do you have a gift for music? Our worship team normally practices on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm. However, we are on hold right now due to COVID 19. Riegel hopes to restart sometime in July. Keep practicing at home and when the time comes, show up with a song in your heart. There is always room for more team members to share a musical gift.

Community Service

We have named the church Greenhaven Neighborhood Church because we have a passion for serving this town and demonstrating God's love to the people who walk or drive by our building every day. We try to hold at least one gathering a month directed at meeting a need. This is all part of our desire to "love local." Would you like to join us? Reach out and we will let you know about our next opportunity.
